Risk Assessment or Risk Analysis is a methodology to determine the risk associated with certain hazards or sources of risk. It can be applied to a wide range of fields, such as travel security, for the assessment of health and safety risks for expats. The Risk Assessment methodology can be used whenassessing the danger of an undesirable event in order to definethe priorities actions to be taken to control it.
The G7 Risk Assessment methodology can be summarized in the following three phases:
- Description of the subject of study
- Identifying potential hazards
- Estimating potential risks
